February

I reflected a lot on this project during February. I felt like the photographs I was taking were unoriginal and lacked something. I was worried my life looked boring. But I’ve actually had a wonderful month so it’s interesting that social media & the adventures of other people made me doubt myself so much.

This month I travelled to Wales for a long weekend away from the noise and the busy busy busy energy of normal life. I stayed in a cabin with a beautiful view and there was no wifi and no signal. I wish I had stayed longer. I find trips away quite interesting as I often return home full of good intentions about how I’m going to prioritise rest & downtime but then fall back into the same old routine. I wonder, person reading this, if you do the same? Although I’m currently listening to Bon Iver which might be why I’m being so reflective…

Anyway, this month has been an interesting one with plenty of highs and lows. I got some bad news which has taken some time to process but I’ve also had some wonderful times with friends & family, seen some absolutely breathtaking nature (I’m looking at you Hafren forest) & read some really moving books. Thank you for taking the time to read this ramble & I hope you enjoy the photos :)
